Lida PreymaCo-Founder and Managing Partner
Lida brings over 25 years of experience in Canadian capital markets (CM) where most recently she was director of Capital Markets Strategy & Client Insights at the Bank of Montreal. She was responsible for delivery of strategic initiatives including being co-lead for CM on a USD $16.3 billion acquisition of a US bank and the CM strategy partner for their One Client initiative between the commercial bank and capital markets.
Prior to this, Lida was part of the management team that built Canada’s first alternative trading venue and stock exchange and built a global macroeconomic research and advisory business. |
Since 2015, Lida has been a member of various B20 Taskforces providing policy recommendations to the G20 leaders and the B20 Women in Business Action Council. She regularly speaks at international conferences on gender equality and women’s economic empowerment.
She has written a master’s dissertation on sustainable finance and was a member of ISO TC68’s (Financial Services) AG4 Sustainable Finance Advisory Group and a member of the EDM Council’s ESG Working Group. She has sat on numerous boards and is currently in her second term with Transparency International (Canada).
Lida holds an HBA from the University of Toronto with a specialist in international political economy, an MBA in international business from the University of Cumbria and completed the Women’s Leadership Program at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
