About Us
The Global Climate Finance Accelerator convenes partnerships across business, finance, government, and academia to identify, investigate, and propose the policies, procedures, and tools required to finance the deployment of technically viable climate solutions.
Our vision is a competitive, climate-resilient, and equitable economy.
Our mission is to adapt existing products and services to build finance solutions that make climate positive projects “investible” when otherwise they would face traditional financing, policy and regulatory barriers.
The Accelerator also provides a professional forum for emerging leaders to build the expertise and technical skills required to future-proof businesses for an economy-wide transformation.
Advancing Climate Solutions Through Next-Gen Talent
We provide a professional platform for emerging leaders in finance, engineering, policy, and science to develop the expertise and technical capabilities needed to advance an equitable, net-zero economy. Each year, in collaboration with the University of Toronto, the Accelerator selects four full-time graduate students—one from each discipline—to identify and investigate solutions as our Accelerators-in-Residence.
